Wright

Chair of Trustees

Andy Wright is an ombudsman leader at the Financial Ombudsman Service, where he leads the team resolving complaints against financial service providers from small businesses. Previously, Andy was Director of Mergers at the Competition and Markets Authority, where he led hundreds of investigations into mergers affecting markets across all sectors of the economy. Before competition regulation, Andy worked in corporate finance, advising technology and telecoms companies on mergers and acquisitions, and is a qualified chartered accountant. 

For fourteen years, Andy was a lay leader of the Good Shepherd Mission in Bethnal Green, an evangelical missional church community, where he remains an active member. He is also a trustee of Mission Housing, a charity which seeks to meet the housing needs of key Christian workers in London.

Danny
Aanderud

National Director

Danny is Novo UK’s National Director. He holds degrees in German law, international law, and philosophy of ethics and religion, and worked in a number of fields including law, academia, and music before joining Novo. He currently serves on the board of Frontiers UK and is passionate about helping Muslims encounter Jesus.

Danny lives in Oxford with his wife Christine and their three children, where they partner with other Novo UK workers in sharing the gospel and building toward a disciple-making HUB. When he’s not at work he enjoys drumming and travelling to his hometown Hamburg, Germany.

Claire Tinkler

Trustee

Claire grew up in Essex and moved to London to train as a doctor, finding her spiritual home at the Good Shepherd Mission (GSM) in Bethnal Green. She's spent over 30 years at GSM on mission, fellowshipping, worshipping, and growing, six of those serving as a trustee church leader. She works part-time as a Palliative Care Consultant with the NHS. Her particular passions include worship, prayer, and holistic health in leadership and the church. She's married to Richard, a chemical engineer, and together they bought a property in Suffolk in 2016 that they've developed into New Chapel Farm (NCF), a place of restoration for individuals in ministry, their families, and teams. Claire is also a trustee for the NCF charity.

Novo-US Senior Vice President

Darren lives in Whitechapel, London where he has served among asylum seekers, immigrants, and twelve-step recovery communities with London’s InnerCHANGE Team since 2007. Prior to that, he directed a ministry to homeless young people in San Francisco, California. Darren served as the InnerCHANGE General Director from 2014 – 2022 and is currently Novo-US Senior Vice President, shaping internal communications and organisational culture. Darren is passionate about making disciples, teaching the Bible, reading good books, befriending people on the margins, and enjoying quality time with his family.
